Another pottery night! I’ve been remiss in my pottery posting - I’ve made a few pieces since my last pottery photo upload, but haven’t got around to taking proper shots of any of it yet.
Tonight I started Christmas gifts! Okay, maybe it’s a bit early, but as I intend to make pottery gifts for everyone this year, and I can only go every week or two, I thought I’d best get started. Mom’s gift us going to be a coaster set. I can’t decide how many to make; 6, 8, or 12. If you know how many generally come in a set, do post and let me know. I made 6 tonight. They should be a good opportunity to play with the glazes.

I also glazed a few pieces that I made last week, so here’s the pre-firing glaze shot. The reddish colours will end up brown, and the two tones of grey on the bowl should produce some interesting interactions. I hope. One never knows, with glazing.
