Latest pottery project: ridiculous espresso cups for 5 year old girls.
Well, just one 5 year old girl.
The first three are finished, and now residing with aforementioned 5 year old:
There’s a fourth one, and I intended to wait until they were all finished and together before I posted the photos, but I ended up allowing the 5 year old to act as art director for the final piece. She made some bold choices. Bold enough that there’s no point in considering them a matched set anymore. Instead they will be a game of One Of These Things Is Not Like The Others.
The 5 year old in question also has some fresh and creative perspectives on overturning the draconian bourgeois dinner table laws. Power to the proletariat, sister. Fight the good fight.

Oh, but caffeine-infused 5-year old girls are just so much FUN!
(Though it would be hard to imagine this one being much more fun than she already is… she’s so silly it made her hair curly.)

The first 3 times I met her she was high as a kite on Coca Cola, and she spent the whole time playing with the iFart app on my iPhone, laughing like a maniac.
